广东明阳风电产业集团位于广东省中山市火炬高技术产业开发区内，是以风力发电机组为核心主营业务的高新技术企业，是广东装备制造业重点企业和国家火炬计划重点高新技术企业，主导产品是兆瓦级风力发电机组。明阳风电立足于国际技术、资本、人力和市场资源开发，构建国际化新能源装备产业集团。
Located in the Torch High Technology Industry Development Zone, Zhongshan City, the hometown of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, Guangdong Mingyang Wind Power Industrial Group Co., Ltd.(herein after referred to as Ming Yang Wind Power), is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, productions and services. Focusing on Megawatt-class products, Mingyang Wind Power has been entitled as the Key Hi-tech Enterprise of the National Torch Program and Guangdong Province. In terms of the international resources in the areas of technology, capital, manpower and market, Mingyang Wind Power is becoming a recognized worldwide provider for new energy equipments.

Mingyang Wind Power shares with Mingyang Electric Group Co Ltd. as its holding company, as well as Sopaf from Italy, Green Hunter USA, and Kelley USA.
明阳风电以兆瓦级风力发电机组为核心产业，辅以风电控制系统、风电变频系统、叶片等配套产业，建成风电全功率试验系统、风电变频试验系统、偏航变桨试验系统、叶片试验系统等先进的研发和检测设施，为明阳风电的兆瓦级风力发电机组产业化、规模化提供牢固的产业基础。通过控股或参股的方式，明阳风电已实现70%核心部件的供应链优势。
Mingyang Wind Power sets the Megawatt scale wind turbine as its core business line, together with the parts suppliers such as control system, inverter system and blade. Many advanced facilities for R&D and testing are available, like the Wind Turbine Test Bench, Wind Turbine Inverter Testing System, Yaw and Pitch Drive Testing System and Blade Testing System. These provide a solid industrial base for the large-capacity production of Mingyang Wind Power Megawatt-class wind turbine. By holding the shares in different manufacturers of the key components, Mingyang Wind Power has achieved up to a high level with 70% of the core components of the supply chains.
明阳风电在国内的规模化生产基地――中山、天津、西安、吉林、呼和浩特、玉林等，能够确保产品在全国范围内更便捷地稳定供应，同时保障产品在使用过程中获得更快速地服务响应。
Mingyang Wind Power has several large-scale production bases in China nationwide，respectively in Zhongshan, Tianjin, Xi’an, Jilin, Hohhot, and Yulin, ensuring a more convenient transportation and more stable production supply chain, and making the products more quick response to the services in operation as well.
